This is where Chuck grew up in a home that centered on affluence, leisure, and entertainment. There was so much that was unholy about that place. It is to the glory of God alone that Chuck has built such a different home that emphasizes sacrifice, kingdom service, and hospitality. There is something of the holy about this place.

One day, however, we will be taken to the home that God is preparing for us. It will shimmer with holiness, for “Holiness adorns Your house, O LORD, forever” (Psalm 93:5).

This is a short post with a long thought. We will enjoy the perfections of God in that perfect place forever. Until then, we dwell in the shelter of the Most High (Psalm 91:1).

May wisdom build your house, may understanding establish it; may knowledge fill its rooms with all precious and pleasant riches (Proverbs 24:3-4).
